3 Week Signature Course - Ages 8-11 - Little Ladies and Gents (ASCOT)

Our Little Ladies and Gents course focuses on social skills, etiquette and building personal confidence.  This course runs across three sessions (each session is two and a half hours and includes a full dinner).

Ages: 8-11

Dates: Sundays, September 10th, 17th and 24th 2023

Timings: 15:00 - 17:30 (includes a full dinner and Afternoon Tea during our final week)

Venue: The Wentworth Suite, Macdonald Berystede Hotel, Ascot

Price: £299 (includes a course folder and weekly materials, a full dinner on 10th and 17th of September and Afternoon Tea on 24th September)

Session 1: Table Manners

Topics include: place settings, napkins and handling silverware, showing appreciation, difficult-to-eat foods and menus for fussy eaters, how to sit at the table, mingling and conversation, knowing when to begin, passing and offering food, what to do when we are finished with our meal

Session 2: Social Etiquette

Topics include: first impressions, meeting and greeting, formal and informal introductions (of yourself and others), small talk, telephone and internet etiquette, thank you letters, writing and responding to invitations

Session 3: Emotional Wellbeing​

Topics include: being assertive and respectful, dealing with peer pressure and those who are unkind to us, mindfulness tools for big emotions

Dress code: smart/casual (no hoodies or sportswear)
